About Kate Lewis

kate-lewis-studio-bigKate translates the language of culture, political climate, and world events into beautiful, innovative textiles tapping into a collective subconscious that speaks not only to fashion’s present, but also to its future. Since completing her master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in 1999, Kate’s manipulated and embroidered designs have been featured on the runways and in the collections of the best fashion houses of New York, London, and Paris including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Nina Ricci, Calvin Klein Collection, Derek Lam and Narciso Rodriguez.

Based in London, Kate bridges the link between the fashion capitals of the world—incorporating the modernism of New York with the femininity and craftsmanship of Paris and colouring it throughout with the inventive aesthetic of London. Kate’s luxurious, cutting-edge textiles have inspired designers at the highest echelon of fashion and, her innovative work has launched worldwide trends. It is this foresight that has made Kate a valued advisor to worldwide trend forecasting companies, such as WGSN.
